As a bandleader, Monica has performed at Montreal venues including the Montreal Jazz Festival and on the vibrant West Coast scene. Internationally, her career has taken her to Mexico, Taiwan and aboard cruise ships. With other ensembles, she has performed in England, Ireland, Wales, the Maritimes Provinces, and in New York City at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. Television credits include a documentary in Prague and a production of Brundibar, a children's opera by Jewish Czech composer Hans Krása. Collaborations as a choral singer with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra are numerous.

In addition to jazz and original compositions, Monica is versed in soul, Brazilian and Latin music, pop and Buddha-Bar electro. She is an accomplished sight-singer and is also fluent in English, French and Spanish.
